Achille Castiglioni

Achille Castiglioni was an Italian furniture and lighting designer. Born in 1918, he did not enrol into the Faculty of Architecture at Politecnico di Milano until 1937, after first studying the classics, and art. 

Most famous for his lighting designs for FLOS, he had a long career as a lighting designer. Famous designs of his include the Luminator lamp (1955), Gatto table lamp (1960), and the Snoopy lamp (1967), all of which can be purchased via Ross Madden.
