Iconic buildings are cleverly reimagined as pieces of a chess set, collectively creating the highly recognisable city skylines of New York City and London. For chess players and design enthusiasts, each set is finished in classic black and white, complete with folding board and presentation box.
In the London set Pawns are terraced houses, Big Ben is the Rook, with the London Eye playing the Knight. 30 St Mary Axe is cast as the Bishop, and the Shard lends its elegance and might to the role of the Queen. No other building than Canary Wharf would be better suited to play the King.
Cast in injection-moulded acrylic
Each piece is double weighted and has a soft, felt base
