Originally developed for, and still used in, the food processing industry, this classic knife sharpener was designed by Robert Welch in the 1964 and is on permanent display at MoMA, New York.
It's not there for good looks alone. Containing two butcher's steels in the same hardness and temper as professional steels, it sharpens plain and scalloped-edged blades in a smooth, safe action.
Material: Enamelled cast metal
Origin: Sheffield, UK.
