Enamel Casserole

If you think enamel cookware is a bit retro, you are right. The first examples of enameled objects were discovered in a tomb in Cyprus in the 13thC BC.

Embraced by cooking enthusiasts the world over, it’s the mid-century Dansk enamelware that is the most highly-prized of all.

The original 1956 design by Jens Quistgaard features distinctive lids that double as trivets and wooden handles. In current production, the cookware is made of steel with three coats of highly durable enamel. They are easy to clean and can be used on all heat sources including induction. Available in classic white, Dansk is an indispensable addition to the kitchen.
